About Erin
Growing up on Long Island, Erin was surrounded by seafood. Chewing on octopus when she was a baby to help with teething, Italian tradition of 7 fishes at Christmas, sardines as after school snacks & lox for breakfast on Saturdays, she was raised on seafood. Going to Fire Island and eating oysters fresh out of the water is some of her favorite memories. It was not until she moved to the landlock state of Colorado that she realized how much she missed the ocean & all of the bountiful food it brought. Wanting to bring a little bit of that magic to CO, Erin started Salt-E Catering.
